On the nose there is plenty of Marasca cherries and red fruit followed by secondary hints of leather. The light toasting confirms the strong character of the wine. Excellent combination of tannin, fruity notes and freshness on the palate. The tannin are sustained and characteristic, but never overwhelming, demonstrating long persistence.
