Villa Matilde - Falerno del Massico Bianco (Falanghina)

Originating from the ancient Romans' vinum album Phalanginum, Falerno del Massico Bianco is a pure expression of the Falanghina grape. This wine boasts a straw-yellow hue and an elegant, complex aroma, offering notes of ripe pineapple, mango, passion fruit, green apple, mandarin, and peach. Balanced, velvety, rich, and persistent, it displays marked finesse and personality. The wine is crafted through a process of cryomaceration, followed by gentle pressing and cold decantation of the must. It then ferments at a controlled temperature, with 15% of the wine aging in terracotta amphorae and the remainder in stainless steel tanks, where it stays in contact with the yeasts for about three months.
