Percarlo Carcereri - Bianco (Garganega blend)

A unique wine, made by a young winemaker who lends his name to his sole production of around 3000 bottles. With 80% Garganega, 15% Trebbiano di Soave, and 5% Malvasia di Candia, this blend is made with about 20% of Garganega and Trebbiano that are dried in boxes for two months. The destemmed grapes undergo three days of maceration, followed by soft pressing and spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks. After resting on the lees for a month, the fresh grapes mature in steel while the dried grapes age in tonneaux. The resulting blend is a natural, unfiltered wine characterized by a deep straw colour with golden reflections. It boasts notes of white flowers, yellow fruit, and citrus on the nose, while the palate experiences a refreshing, saline taste with lasting persistence. Also offered in magnum size, this distinct blend is available in a limited quantity featuring a handpainted design.
