Intense ruby red colour with a persistent nose of black berry fruit, spices and vanilla. On the palate it is full and intense, balancing well flavours of jam and licorice, demonstrating good complexity and smooth tannins. Wine that goes through a long maceration on the skins and racking in wood for elevation in tonneau and medium-sized barrels for 18 months before resting in the cellar.
