Excellent wine with lots of character. Notes of incense, dark cherries, menthol and licorice that come together in great elegance and refinement, despite the wine remaining big and powerful. The oldest label produced by the oldest winery in the High Piedmont dating 1671. This is the wine ministers toasted with to celebrate the unification of Italy in 1861.
