Wine made from grapes harvested by hand when completely ripe and then macerated on the skins for 3 days. After racking, the wine is transferred into perpetual barrels of 1000 liters for aging according to the tradition of perpetual wines. Complex, mineral with intense citrus notes and ripe yellow fruit, with pleasant herbaceous hints, sweet spices, toasted almonds, and balsamic notes. Broad and enveloping and yet gentle on the palate. Expect a slightly oxidated wine, as the Marsala wine used to be before the British arrived in Sicily in the 1770s.
