Twice distilled in traditional discontinuous copper stills, this unique single malt whisky from Sardinia is made from locally-grown barley and matures in century-old Sardinian chestnut barrels previously used to age Vernaccia di Oristano wine since 1852. Its colour is ancient gold with amber and copper reflections. The nose reveals candied citrus, pepper, caramel, dried fruit, malt, ginger, and subtle saline notes, alongside cloves, plum jam, cherry liqueur, and raisins. Creamy and soft on the palate, it echoes the nose with hints of honey. The finish is long and clean, with persistent spicy and dried fruit notes. Limited to only 1200 bottles.
