Originating from a carefully tended 6-hectare vineyard in Calabria, this distinctive wine showcases a blend of native Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola grapes grown at 300 meters on calcareous soils. Hand-harvested and gently pressed, fermentation occurs naturally with indigenous yeasts over 15 days of skin contact. A brief maturation in wood imparts a refined bouquet featuring plum, black cherry, and subtle spice nuances. On the palate, it reveals a rich, warm, and full-bodied character, supported by firm tannins and a savory, lasting finish. An elegant and compelling expression of its terroir.
